Introduction
Rose is a multivariate, shrubby,
thorny, flowering plant with very beautiful fragrant flowers. It has more than
100 castes, most of them of Asian descent. While the origin of some castes is
also Europe, North America and North Western Africa. The Government of India

Rashiuddin has written that seventy kinds of roses were planted in Gujarat in
the fourteenth century. Babur has also written about planting roses. Jahangir
has written that there are all kinds of roses in India.
